东汉东乡通利水大道约束刻石考

摘要
"东乡通利水大道约束刻石"刻于东汉永元十年(公元98年),早年出土于河南偃师,近300字,内容是令民众保养道路的约束,是罕见的汉代长篇记事石刻。以往拓片质量不佳,文字考释多误,难以卒读。依据新的拓片,今改释、新释出20余处字词,刻石前半所缺释文字已很少,可以通读。它是一方极为少见的东汉时期对公共事业进行管理的刻石,对于研究汉代地方史及公共事业管理史有着重要的意义。
"The stone carving of Dongxiang's road maintenance instruction in the Eastern Han Dynasty"was discovered long ago at Yanshi,Henan Province. Its content is about instructing local people on Dongxiang 's road maintenance,which is very rare. The rubbings of this stone carving are of poor quality,and its interpretation has many mistakes. In this article we reinterpreted 20words of this stone carving,based on which,the first half of the carving nowis intelligible since most of the words are properly interpreted. The stone carving is of great significance for research of public service and administration and local history in the Eastern Han Dynasty.
