摘要
翻译是两种文化的沟通和交流,古典诗词是传递中国文化意象最典型的文化形式,从构建扬州城市形象这一角度出发,撷取交通、经济、景观、人物等方面最具代表性的符号加以翻译,在翻译中传达、构建出的扬州是一个运河名城,是富甲一方的繁华之地,是景美人美的江南文化名城和休闲之都。
Translation is the communication between two cultures,while classical poetry is the typical cultural icon to deliver the imagery of Chinese culture. From the perspective of the construction of Yangzhou city image,the translation of representative symbols in transportation,economy,landscape and character is to express and construct that Yangzhou is a well-known city of canal,a place of prosperity and a famous cultural city with entertainment and beautiful views in the southern part of Jiangsu Province.
