亚东图书馆及“亚东精神”的思想传播史意义

摘要
亚东图书馆由汪孟邹于1913年在上海创办,其前身为芜湖科学图书社。亚东出版了一大批精品图书,创造过诸多"第一",带来了中国出版史、文化史乃至思想史的转型与进步。亚东人工作中一丝不苟,精益求精,出版了优质的亚东本。亚东广泛利用图书、报纸、杂志等多种媒介,多管齐下,招徕读者,实现社会效益和经济效益的有机统一。亚东图书馆40年的发展史,逐渐形成了为社会所称道的"亚东精神"。"亚东精神"是敢为人先的创新精神,又是精益求精的工匠精神,还包括多管齐下的经营精神。"亚东精神"的文化价值体现在对社会行为和社会文化的导向和选择,传播新思想和新文化。首创古典小说标点本,使小说文本呈现出全新的面貌,具有重要的文本价值和学术价值。
Oriental Book Company was founded in Shanghai in 1913 by Wang Mengzou,it's predecessor was the Wuhu Science Book Society.Oriental has published a large number of highquality books,created many"firsts",and brought about the transformation and progress in Chinese publishing history,cultural history and even ideological history.Oriental people are meticulous in their work and keep improving,and have published high-quality oriental books.Oriental makes extensive use of books,newspapers,magazines and other media to attract readers and achieve the organic unification of social and economic benefits.The 40-year development history of the Oriental Book Company has gradually formed the"Oriental Spirit"that is praised by the society.The"Oriental Spirit"is the spirit of innovation that dares to be the first,and the craftsmanship spirit of excellence,and it also includes a multi-pronged management spirit.The cultural value of"Oriental Spirit"is reflected in the orientation and selection of social behavior and social culture,and the dissemination of new ideas and new cultures.It creates the first punctuating text of classical novels,which makes the text of novels take on a new look and has important textual value and academic value.
