千年揭姓 忠孝传家——浅谈以揭阳为姓的揭猛家族之“安道家风”

摘要
揭姓是潮汕地区唯一一个被古代皇帝以本地地名赐姓的姓氏。揭氏家族从汉至唐宋近千年间,祖居揭阳。揭姓族人后散居中南五省及全国各地,以至海外。但揭氏子孙无论身居何处,都认定揭阳为他们的发祥地、揭猛(史定)为揭氏始祖,并以族谱、族训、族诫、祠堂、庙宇、祭祀、节俗、族贤等八大载体传承"安道家风",使揭氏家族忠孝家风代代相传。具有中华民族汉族宗谱以传统美德为依归的共性,又有其独特的个性,其家风教育是以家庭日常生活为载体的。揭氏家族"安道之风犹存,忠孝之道传家"的传承是揭示揭氏家族凝聚力、向心力的文化基因,为新时期家庭建设坚持注重家庭、注重家教、注重家风提供借鉴。
The surname Jie is the only family name given by ancient emperor in the name of a place. Fornearly a thousand years between the Han dynasty and the Tang dynasty, the Jies lived in Jieyang. Later, theyscattered to live in five provinces in the center of south China and in other parts of the country or even in for-eign countries. Wherever the Jie descendants lived, they regarded Jieyang as their origin. Jie Meng(Shiding)was the earliest ancestor of the Jies and he passed on"the family trait of devoting to things spiritual"through theeight carriers of family tree, family admonishment, family discipline, ancestral halls, temples, sacrifice, festi-vals and customs, and family sagas to guarantee the family trait of loyalty and filial piety to pass on from genera-tion to generation. This family trait is universal in our country in that it is characterized by the traditional vir-tues of the Han nationality in China. Meanwhile, it is unique in that its education is realized by daily life. Theinheritance of"the remaining of the family trait of devoting to things spiritual and the handing down of the spir-it of loyalty and filial piety"by the Jie family demonstrates the cultural gene of the unity and the centripetalforce of the family and provides reference for family construction in the new era which attaches great impor-tance to family, family education and family traits.
