The water flooding of powerhouse is one of important risks in hydropower industry. For the underground powerhouse, the occurrence of powerhouse water flooding accident will cause more serious equipment damage than that in ground powerhouse. Therefore, the research on the capacity of pumped-storage power station to improve powerhouse water anti-flooding is important. Taking PJ pumped-storage power station as study object, the accidents of powerhouse water flooding caused by different pipe bursts are simulated, and the submergence rates and submergence heights under different engineering conditions are analyzed to provide references for the design, construction, operation and management of pumped-storage power stations.
