基于语料库的十九大报告英译文体风格研究

摘要
采取定量和定性相结合的研究方法,以描写翻译学为理论框架,使用语料库工具从词汇、句法和语篇三方面分析十九大报告英译本文体风格,并与美国《国情咨文》进行对比,发现十九大报告英译文措辞较严谨,语句结构较复杂,语言较规范,风格非常正式,文本阅读难度高,可读性较弱,这种风格通过直译和意译、分译和合译及注释翻译等翻译策略体现出来。
Combining quantitative and qualitative research methods,with descriptive translation studies as the theoretical framework,the present paper uses corpus tools to analyze the style of the Report at 19 th Party Congress from three aspects of vocabulary,syntax and discourse; and compared with American State of the Union Address,it is found that the English version of the Report at 19 th Party Congress is featured by rigorous diction,normative language expression,and formal style. The text is fairly difficult to read. This style is embodied by translation methods such as literal translation,liberal translation,division translation,combined translation,and annotation translation
