Many patients of neurodegenerative diseases were also suffered from circadian-related problems, but the underlying molecular mechanisms are largely unknown. Recently, researchers found that the neurodegenerative diseases-associated gene could directly regulate the expression of core circadian genes, and thus influences the circadian-related behaviors.
