With the cultural turn in translation studies in 1970 s, the identity and domination of translators has attracted scholars' attention and subjectivity of translators has gradually become the object of study. The characteristics of subjectivity of translators can be manifested through the comparison of the two versions of English translations of A Requiem for Myself.
