摘要
隐喻和转喻是人类重要的认知机制,存在于语言模态和声音、图像、文字等非语言模态之中,并通过相互作用构成多模态语篇的衔接与连贯。多模态转喻和隐喻理论在认识中发挥重要作用。以2018年河南宣传片为例,宣传语篇中的多模态转喻和隐喻现象大量存在,二者之间的互动关系,阐释多模态语篇的认知机制。不同类型的转喻和隐喻在语篇推进过程中具有不同的功能,二者相互作用,实现了多模态语篇内部的衔接与主题的连贯。
Metaphor and metonymy are the important cognitive mechanisms of human beings. They exist in the language modes, and in the non-linguistic mode as well, such as sounds, images, and characters. The interaction between the two modes constitute the cohesion and coherence of multimodal discourse. Since multimodal metonymy and metaphor theory play an important role in cognition, this paper, taking Henan propaganda films in 2018 as an example, discusses the interaction between the two which exist in the propaganda discourse in large quantities, and explains the cognitive mechanism of multimodal discourse. It is found out different types of metonymy and metaphor have different functions in the process of discourse advancement, and the interaction between the two can realize the inter cohesion within the multimodal discourse and the coherence of the theme.
