The method of sodium chloride combined with heated zeolite was efficient modifying zeolite, which could change the internal and surface structures to improve the adsorption efficiency of zeolite. Natural clinoptilolite was modified using single factor experiments in this study. The results showed that the adsorption rate of modified zeolite on methylene blue was the maximum when the sodium chloride fraction was 12%,soak and roast time were 90 min and 120 min at 90℃. Meanwhile, the adsorption conditions of modified zeolite on methylene blue were also studied by orthogonal experiment. It has been discovered that the methylene blue removal rate was 95. 07% when the dosage of modified zeolite was 0. 15 g/m L,p H value was 7. 0 and adsorption time was 40 min at 60℃,which was also the optimum adsorption condition.
