摘要
为了提高设计效率,缩短开发周期,基于CATIA知识模板研究开发了一种用于车身设计的白车身典型特征数据库。典型特征包含孔、凸台、加强筋、修边特征等,采用参数化建模。利用超级副本和保存到目录,创建典型特征数据库,利用目录浏览器调用典型特征。通过特征调用和手工建模对比,证明了此白车身典型特征数据库的实用性和高效性。
In order to improve design efficiency and shorten development cycle, a BIW typical feature database for auto body design is developed based on CATIA knowledge template. Typical features include holes, pads, ribs and trim features, etc.,which are designed through parameterized modeling. Typical feature database is established by creating power copies and saving power copies into a catalog. Through the catalog, a typical feature can be created by instantiating a power copy. The practicability and efficiency of BIW typical feature database is demonstrated through the comparison of feature instantiation and manual modeling.
