摘要
随着全球气候变暖步伐的加快,北极冰层逐渐减少,北极通航成为国际海事界关注的热点之一。与传统航线相比,北极航线将大大缩减航程,降低航运成本。由于极地海域的环境温度可达-30℃以下,常年冰雪覆盖、气候环境特殊,使船舶在极地海域航行时会因冰、寒冷气候及其他不可预计的因素而存在附加风险。根据极地规则Part1-A,极地运营船舶需要提供极地运营操作的风险评估。本文以公司建造的某型极地运营集装箱船为例,介绍极地运营船舶的风险评估及设计应对措施。
        With the acceleration of global warming, the arctic ice gradually decreased, the arctic navigation has become one of the hot spots in the international maritime community. Compared with the traditional route, the arctic route will greatly reduce the voyage and shipping costs. Because polar waters outdoor environment temperature can reach below-30℃; for vessels sailing on the polar sea there are additional risks because of ice, extremely cold climate, and other unexpected conditions. According to the Polar Code regulations, for any vessels operating in the polar regions, ship owners are required to provide risk assessment for the operation. Taking the container ship built by the shipyard as an example, this paper introduces the risk assessment and design countermeasures of polar operation of vessels.
