从社会实践理论角度探究《毛泽东选集》英译本

摘要
《毛泽东选集》的英译在中国"中译外"翻译史上占有重要地位。从批评话语分析的视角,田海龙提出将翻译作为社会实践进行研究的话语分析模式,该模式能够跳出传统翻译研究的局限性,从更广泛的维度来全面探讨翻译活动涉及的各个环节,可被用于分析《毛泽东选集》英译本的产生、传播和接受情况。
The English versions of Selected Works of Mao Tse-Tung occupy an important position in the history of translations from Chinese.From the perspective of critical discourse analysis,Tian Hailong puts forward the discourse analysis model of conceptualizing translation as social practice.Such a model,transcending limitations of the translation studies in the traditional sense,can be used to probe into the various aspects in the translation activity from multiple dimensions.It can be employed to analyze the production,distribution and consumption regarding the English versions of Selected Works of Mao Tse-Tung.
