        Tibet is extremely rich in water power resources and has great development potential of water power resources. Thewater power resources in Tibet are important strategic reserve resources in China. The development of Tibet's hydropower is animportant way to enhance Tibet's economic development capability and achieve coordinated economic and social development.It is also an important measure for promoting energy production and consumption revolution,safeguarding national energysecurity,promoting the development of poverty-stricken areas and building ecological civilization.
