桐城方氏家族刻书述论

摘要
作为清代桐城五大世家之一的方氏家族,不仅在文学与思想造诣上声名远扬,在家族刻书领域亦颇有建树。文章通过整理以方文、方以智、方苞为代表的桂林方和以方东树、方宗诚为代表的鲁谼方的家族刻书成果,分析总结了桐城方氏家族的刻书特点、繁荣原因及文化成就。
The Fang family,as one of the five aristocratic families of Tongcheng in Qing Dynasty,not only enjoys a widespread reputation in literary and ideological attainments,but also is very famous for the family 's contribution on engraving books. This paper mainly presents the contributions on engraving books made by two branches of Tongcheng Fang family,namely the Guilin Fang family represented by Fang Wen,Fang Yi- zhi,Fang Bao,and the Luhong Fang family represented by Fang Dong- shu,Fang Zong- cheng. Through the collating of their fruitful results,the characteristics of Tongcheng Fang family's engraving books,the reasons for their prosperity as well as the cultural achievements are analyzed and summarized.
