In this study, analysis the soil environmental quality of low effect Pinus elliottii and P.massoniana in Ganjiangyuan National Nature Reserve, results showed that, comparing the soil environmental quality of P.elliottii with that of P.massoniana, the mean value of Organic Matter 7.82 g·kg~(-1)(P.elliottii)>3.83 g·kg~(-1)(P.massoniana),Available Nitrogen60.78 mg·kg~(-1)(P.elliottii)>41.61 mg·kg~(-1)(P.massoniana),Available Phosphorus 0.78 mg·kg~(-1)(P.elliottii)>0.60 mg·kg~(-1)(P.massoniana).Generally speaking, the soil nutrient of P.elliottii sample plot is slightly higher than that of P.massoniana, but the soil fertility of low-efficiency coniferous forest land in Ganjiang source is low and the soil nutrient is deficient. In comparison of soil enzyme activities in two coniferous forests. The activity of Urease and Catalase under soil of P.elliottii was higher than P.massoniana,Urease 2.538 mg(NH3-N) ·g~(-1)(P.elliottii)>2.158 mg(NH3-N)·g~(-1)(P.massoniana),Catalase 2.604 mL KMnO4·g~(-1),dry soil(P.elliottii) >2.239 mL KMnO4·g~(-1) dry soil(P.massoniana).The main reasons for inefficient stand quality was low nutrient content and poor enzyme activity.
