典籍翻译的道与器——潘文国教授访谈录

摘要
本访谈于第十届全国典籍翻译学术研讨会期间进行,就典籍翻译领域的重要问题对潘文国教授进行了专访,主要内容包括:典籍翻译的特殊性;典籍翻译的四个核心问题(译什么,给谁看,谁来译,怎么译);典籍翻译的"道"(指导原则);典籍翻译的"器"(操作标准);典籍翻译的主要矛盾及解决办法;学术型翻译与普及型翻译。访谈从"道"与"器"的视角涵盖了典籍翻译领域的诸多热点问题,汇聚了潘文国教授在这一领域的精彩观点,对典籍翻译理论与实践具有重要的借鉴意义。
This interview with Prof. PAN Wenguo on translating Chinese classics was carried out during The Tenth National Conference of the Translation of Chinese Classics, covering such topics as the peculiarity of classics translation, its four key issues(what to translate, for whom to translate, who to translate and how to translate), its general principles"Dao"or the(Ultimate Way) and concrete methods("Qi" or the Vessels), the major contradictions lying behind the translation and their solutions, academic and popularizing translations, etc. Prof. PAN Wenguo showed amazing insights in response to these questions, shedding light on the theoretical study and practice of the translation of Chinese classics.
