In the process of industrial analysis of coal quality,it is found that the accuracy of determination results of the standard coal ash and volatile matter are low.The reason is that the storage conditions of blank crucibles and sample crucibles used for ash and volatile matter determination are inconsistent because of the high air humidity by the time of the test. The conclusion is verified by comparative experiments and analyzed in detail from the theoretical point of view.It is found that the water content of blank crucible and sample crucible is not the same, which will affect the correction value of buoyancy effect, thus affecting the accuracy of measurement results. The trend of influence is consistent with the error trend of experimental measurement. In view of this problem, corresponding counter-measures are formulated to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the analysis results of coal industry.
