Objective To investigate the characteristics and mixed infection of patients with 4 infectious diseases in Ningbo. Methods A total of 52 140 cases were selected from a hospital for the study from November 2015 to March 2018. HBsAg, Anti-TP, Anti-HCV) and Anti-HIV were detected by ELISA. The patients were divided into groups according to gender, age and household registration. The positive rate of each group was counted and the overlapping infections were analyzed. Results The positive rate of 4 test programs were respectively HBsAg(9.41%), Anti-TP(3.17%), Anti-HCV(0.30%) and Anti-HIV(0.09%), and the positive rates in males were statistically higher than that in females(P<0.05). The positive rates of HBsAg, Anti-TP and Anti-HIV were different among age groups(P<0.05), the infectious rate of TP and HBV gradually increased and then reduced with the growth of age, and HIV infected cases show a lower trend of age. Males with household registered in Ningbo had a higher rate of Anti-TP, on the contrary, a higher rate of HBsAg, HCV and HIV was in males without household registered in Ningbo. And the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01). Mixed infection were found in 186 cases, of which 141 cases were with HBV and TP co-infection, accounting for the highest. Conclu-sion The positive rate of 4 infectious diseases were high in males, predominantly the middle-aged in Ningbo area. The number of minors increased, the infectious characteristics was different between cases with or without household registered in Ningbo, the prevention and control should be focused on the mid-aged males. Mixed infection was serious and most cases were HBV and TP co-infection.
