摘要
华莱士·史蒂文斯是20世纪美国意象派杰出代表诗人之一。他的诗歌创作深受中国传统文化的影响,折射出20世纪中西文化交融互动过程中西方对中国文化的接受。他的诗歌浸润着中国式哲学的智慧,充满着中国古典诗歌的优雅,甚至中国艺术品的颜色、布局、主题、神韵等都被纳入其诗歌创作而成为独特的意象。对华莱士·史蒂文斯诗歌中中国意象的解读是研究20世纪美国意象派形成及其意义的重要途径。
Wallace·Stevens(1879-1955) is one of the outstanding representative poets of American Imagism in the 20 th century. His poetry creation is deeply influenced by Chinese traditional culture, which reflects the acceptance of Chinese culture by the West in the process of the interaction of Chinese and Western culture in the 20 th century. His poems are imbued with the wisdom of Chinese philosophy and the elegance of classical Chinese poems. Even the color, the layout, the theme, and the charm of Chinese works of art have been incorporated into his poems and formed unique images. The understanding and interpretation of Chinese images in Wallace Stevens' poetry is an important way to study the formation and significance of American Imagism in the 20 th century.
