英语写作语篇中结果连接词语料库考察及认知缘由研析

文章基于中国英语学习者语料库3个子语料库与自建的大学生优秀英语作文语料库,以8个结果性逻辑连接词为个案,就词频、搭配进行同类语料库横向对比。同时基于中国英语学习者语料库与英语本族语语料库,对中英学习者连接词词频展开纵向对比,旨在考究中国英语学习者写作语篇结果性连接词的习得图景。研究结果表明:随着英语学习者学习层次提升和学习梯度加大,连接词词频在增大,使用丰富度在增强,且搭配呈多元化态势,意群整合力在提升;中国学生对4个逻辑连接词使用过度,而对另外4个逻辑连接词使用严重不足,使用过度源于中国英语学习者思维中所附着的中国特色文化语用语境制导下的认知转喻,使用严重不足植根于中国英语学习者正处于认知连续统中的"中介语"认知阶段。
The article attempts to make a horizontal contrastive study of 8 conclusive conjunctions in view of the use frequency,collocation between the 3 sub-corpora of Chinese Learner's English Corpus and the self-built College Excellent Writing Corpus.Furthermore, the article makes a vertical contrastive study of conclusive conjunctions between Chinese Learner's English Corpus and English Native Corpus from the perspective of frequency. It is revealed that the frequency of conjunctions is promoted, its richness strengthened; the collocation between clauses is diversified as well as the sense group integration is upgraded with the increase of learners' learning level and gradient; conclusive conjunctions such as "as a result, finally, therefore, thus" are overused for Chinese learners, but utilization of "consequently, hence, as it turned out, eventually" are in the serious deficiencies for Chinese English learners.The excessive use is due to cognitive metonymy constrained by Chinese specific cultural context hidden in the Chinese English learners' thought pattern; the serious deficiencies of usage is rooted in the Chinese learner's inter-language stage in their cognitive continuum.
