In this experiment, 860 Hainan Liugong goose with a shelling time of less than 6 hours were selected, which were divided into four groups of A, B, C and D at 12 h, 24 h, 36 h and 48 h to investigate the effects of feeding time on growth performance, organ index and some biochemical indicators of goslings. The results showed that the weight of goslings in group D was significantly lower than that in group A at 60 h to 3 weeks old(P<0.05). The group A had larger overall body size and significantly difference of development indexs was observed that compared with D group(P<0.05). At the age of 4 weeks, the indexes of muscle, small intestine, liver and pancreas of group A have significant variation compared with group D(P<0.05). The muscle and small intestine in group A were significantly higher than group D in the period of 60 h to 4 weeks. At the age of 4 weeks, the TP and GLU of A group were significantly higher than group D(P<0.05) but the level of HDL-C was significantly lower than group D. The consumption of material about group A was significantly higher than that in group D(P<0.05), which was significantly lower than that of group B and Cin the period of 3 to 4 weeks(P<0.05). In general, with the earlier feeding time, the development of somatotype, digestive organs and immune system will be better. Therefore, it′s necessary to control the feeding time in the range of 12 h and 36h.
