叙事疗法在老年社会工作的应用——以香港慢性病患老年人为例

摘要
随着全球老年化的趋势逐渐发展,中国与很多国家一样,面临着它所带来的机遇与挑战。满足老年人的需求,保障和提高老年人的生活质量,对个人、家庭、社会等各个不同层面都具有重要的意义。随着中国老龄人口数量的增长,其中患有慢性疾病,如中风、痛症、认知障碍等的人数也将持续上升。慢性疾病不仅影响老年人的身体机能,也威胁着他们的心理健康。这种形式对中国的医疗行业以及各个服务行业都提出了新的要求。本文将中国老年人的心理和情绪健康作为切入点,以香港作为案例,提出并讨论叙事疗法在老年社会工作中的实用性和可行性。希望借此为提高针对中国经受慢性疾病考验的老年人的心理健康服务质量提供新的思路。
With the rapid development of the global aging, China, like some of other countries in the world, is facing the opportunities and challenges it brings. Meeting the needs of older people, ensuring and improving their quality of life are of great significance to individuals, families, society and other different levels.As China's aging population grows, the number of people suffering from chronic illnesses, such as stroke,chronic pain and dementia will continue to rise. Chronic illnesses not only affect the physical function of older people, but also threaten their mental health. This situation puts forward new challenges for China's health care industry and various health care and social service providers. Emphasizing on the psychological and emotional health of older people in China, this paper takes Hong Kong as an example, to propose and discuss the practicability and feasibility of applying narrative therapy in social work for older people with chronic illnesses in China. The hope is to provide new ideas for improving the quality of mental health and counseling services for older people who are living with chronic illnesses in China.
