山西吉县柿子滩遗址S12G地点发掘简报

摘要
S12G地点是吉县柿子滩旧石器时代晚期较晚阶段的一处原地埋藏遗址。遗址发掘面积6平方米,深度1.9米。出土遗物1772件,类型丰富,包括石制品、动物化石、蚌壳碎片和鸵鸟蛋壳装饰品。石工业中细石器与小型石片石器组合共存,代表了北方细石器文化特征。细石核均为楔形石核,一改早期船形石核面貌,为华北细石核的发展和形制演化研究提供了地层和年代依据。
S12G is one of the in situ Late upper paleolithic loci at the Shizitan site.A total of 1772 artifacts have been uncovered in the area of 6m2 and deposit of 1.9m in depth.The assemblages of artifacts include stone and bone artifacts,shell fragments,and perforated ornaments made of ostrich eggshell.The coexistence of microblades along with other small flake-tools is similar to the scenario at other loci,but microcores from this loci are in wedge shape and different from the boat-shape microcores in earlier period.The rich materials and in situ contexts are helpful for the study of the development and morphological evolution of microcores in northern China.
