摘要
造纸术相传是由中国东汉时期的蔡伦(63-121年)所改良,将古代以蚕丝为主料的"丝纸"转为以树皮等植物纤维来制造的"真纸"(时人名曰蔡侯纸)。促使了纸质书的出现,使得文明的传播速度更快,体裁更便捷,传播成本更低,对人类文明的发展起到了重大的推动作用。
