典籍英译中的“中国话语”研究——以赛珍珠《水浒传》英译为例

摘要
赛珍珠敢于打破西方文学翻译中的强势话语,在翻译《水浒传》过程中大胆采用直译法,以实现语言、文学、文化层面的中国话语言说策略。此外,她利用出版宣传、语境顺应、著译一体的中国话语传播策略,使译作在海外收到了良好的接受效果。赛译《水浒传》对当下典籍英译对外传播工作的启示是:要利用各种传播渠道和言说策略,凸显中国话语特色,为中国典籍文化走向世界探索最佳的途径和方式。
Pearl S.Buck is bold in breaking the dominant discourse of western literature translation and ventures into a literal C-E translation of Shuihu Zhuan so as to better the "speaking" strategy of China's discourse in language,literature and culture.Moreover,she is skilled at adopting such Chinese discourse communication strategies as publication and promotion,context adaptation and the integration of writing and translating,so that her translation has been well-accepted around the world.Therefore,it is not unfair to say that her translation does shed some enlightenment on global communication of English translation of Chinese classics.We should,in our foreign propagation,highlight the discourse features of Chinese language and take good advantage of communication channels to gain China's discourse power in international community.
