《阿诗玛》英译本社会民俗文化翻译研究

摘要
叙事长诗《阿诗玛》是撒尼民族文化深层积淀的文学化展示,诗中有大量的社会民俗文化负载词。借助语料库手段,对戴乃迭《阿诗玛》英译本中社会民俗文化负载词翻译方法进行探究,发现译者较为注重撒尼族婚姻习俗文化异质性及源语文本文学性的传达,而对源语文本中于西方一般读者来说显得不重要的民俗文化负载词,常常运用替换法或省略不译,以保证译文的流畅性。
The narrative poem Ashima literarily displays the deep traditional culture of the Sani people.The poem contains a great number of social folk culture-loaded words.In virtue of corpus research,the paper analyzes the translation methods of the social folk culture in the English translation version of narrative poem Ashima by Gladys Yang.It is found that the translator does her utmost to transfer the unique marriage culture of the Sani people and the literary features of the source text,and also tries to improve the readability of translation by the translation methods of substitution or omission in dealing with some social folk culture-loaded words,which are not necessary to the Western readers' understanding of the target language.
