摘要
为更好地理解和掌握海事英语中的多义词,根据认知语言学的原型理论、隐喻和转喻理论和意象图式理论,对海事英语的一词多义现象的形成机制展开分析和阐释,得出结论:海事英语的一次多义现象是有充分的认知理据的,通过人的认知模式来学习多义词可以使词汇学习更加形象化和系统化。
In order to better understand and master the polysemous words in maritime English,the formation mechanism of polysemy phenomenon in maritime English is analyzed and illustrated according to the cognitive theories of prototype,metaphor and metonymy,and image schema. It is concluded that the polysemy phenomenon in maritime English has sufficient cognitive motivation,and learning polysemous words through human cognitive mode can make vocabulary learning more visualized and systematized.
