In this paper, the food residues in the stomach of the snake was observed by means of anatomical observation and gastric content extrusion methods, and the habitat of the hot spring snake in the Riduo hot spring located in Tibet was investigated using sample method and route method. Our results showed that the food source of snakes around Riduo hot spring are mainly Triplophysa orientalis within Maqu River located in Mozhu County, and the main activities area of these snakes is in the crevices of stone piles by the river and in the surrounding grass. Moreover, it was found that their daily activities take place mainly between 11 o'clock in the morning and before sunset. It was also found that Tibetan hot spring snakes have strict requirements for altitude and water temperature.
