历史是一个意义链和问题链定义的精神世界。历史的核心问题是一种文明的生死问题。只要一个文明的意义链和问题链不断保持生长状态,就会一直存在;意义链和问题链中断了,文明也就终结了。因此,历史成为了文明的生存方式和根基。要保证历史的意义链和问题链具有开放的无穷性和未来性,就需要将历史不断重新问题化,使历史言说能够始终维持历史问题处于永无定论的状态,这样才得以建构无穷延伸的意义链和问题链。
This essay offers an ontological interpretation of the survival of any civilization,and claims that the key question of history is the civilization's death or life. The survival of a civilization depends on its unbroken chain of self-interpretations and self-reflections,which leads to a long life for a civilization when it leaves all questions about its historicity unsettled and open to further interpretation.
