摘要
绝大多数发表的参考帧无损压缩算法都选择以16×8或8×8像素块作为压缩单元。当实际应用在视频编解码的硬件中时,往往会需要较大的硬件资源开销,同时由于差分预测模式的不合理,会限制解压缩硬件实现的吞吐率。提出一种基于16×4像素块作为压缩单元的新差分预测编码调制算法,在基本不影响压缩效率的前提下,使得硬件资源开销降低一半,同时大幅提升解压缩硬件的吞吐率。
        Most of the published compression algorithms were choose 16×8 or 8×8 block as compression unit. This would cost large buffer for hardware implementation in real application of video coding. At the same time, inappropriate differentiation prediction mode would restrict the throughput of decompression. In this paper, we present a new compression algorithm which choose 16×4 as compression unit, this method can save half of the hardware cost and increases the hardware throughput for decompression with little influence on compression ratio.
