概念整合和“六书”理论视角下的英语年度热词研究

摘要
语言是一个民族文化信息的载体,而文字又是语言的书写符号系统,对文字进行研究具有重要的学术价值和现实意义。基于概念整合理论对2015-2018年柯林斯发布的英语年度热词进行研究,旨在探索词汇的认知性在意义构建过程中的重要作用。此外,英文字母来源于象形文字,从汉字学经典《说文解字》中的"六书"理论对英语词汇的形体和字义关系进行剖析,有助于读者进一步理解英语年度热词的意义,并开启英语词汇研究的新途径。
Language is the carrier of national cultural information, and character is the writing symbol of language, so the study of character has important academic value and practical significance. Based on conceptual integration theory, this paper studies the annual English hot words published by Collins from 2015 to 2018, aiming at exploring the important role of vocabulary cognition in meaning construction. In addition, the English letters are derived from hieroglyphs. An analysis of the relationship between the form and meaning of English vocabulary based on the theory of"Six Categories of Chinese Characters"in the classic Chinese Characterology book Shuowenjiezi(Origin of Chinese Character) will help readers further understand the meaning of the annual hot words in English and open up a new way for the study of English vocabulary.
