贝尔过程模式理论评述

摘要
翻译理论作为翻译活动的根本性纲领,一直备受学者关注。但在贝尔过程模式问世之前,研究者大多青睐对翻译成果和其中各要素的分析,这种结果导向的观念某种程度上束缚了研究者的视角。贝尔的过程模式融合了认知心理学,首次系统地分析了翻译活动之心理过程,严谨地构建了译者心理活动的基本模型,这是一次成功地跨学科交流,不仅为译论发展带来了动态的新思路新气象,也为即将到来的人工智能大潮奠定了基础。
Translation theory, as the fundamental framework of translation activities, has been paid much attention by scholars. However, before the advent of Bell's process model, most researchers favor the analysis of translation achievements and their elements, and this result-oriented concept restricts the perspective of the researchers to some extent. Bell's process model combines cognitive psychology with the first systematic analysis of the psychological process of translation activity and the rigorous construction of the basic model of the translator's psychological activity, which is a successful interdisciplinary communication. It not only brings new dynamic ideas to the development of translation theory, but also lays the foundation for the coming tide of artificial intelligence.
