欲望表征的缺失——《他们眼望上苍》中珍妮的欲望人生

摘要
《他们眼望上苍》是非裔美国女作家佐拉·尼尔·赫斯顿创作的一部成长小说。本文以拉康人格理论和欲望理论为理论基础来剖析《他们眼望上苍》中珍妮在想象界和象征界的追求欲望之旅,旨在揭示无意识欲望其实是无法满足的缺失,这种缺失在文本中体现在珍妮对理想镜像的寻找、对大他者即上帝旨意的寻求以及她选择返回故乡讲述自己的人生历程。从而指出她并非独立的黑人女性,而是一个不断地满足他者欲望的一个残缺的欲望主体。
Their Eyes are Watching God was written by the African-American woman writer Zora Neale Hurston as a growth novel. Based on Lacan's personality theory and desire theory, this thesis analyzes Jenny's pursuit of desire in the imaginary and symbolic world, aiming to reveal that the unconscious desire is actually an unsatisfied deficiency. The text is reflected in Jenny's search for the ideal image, the search for the other's recognition, God's will, and her choice to return to her hometown to tell her life experience. It thus pointed out that she is not an independent black woman, but a disrupted subject of desire that constantly satisfies the desires of the other.
