The environmental site investigation and health risk assessment were performed for the remaining site of a relocated ceramic factory according to Technical Guidelines for Risk Assessment of Contaminated Sites(HJ25.1-2014).The results showed that the soil survey results met the requirements of residential land risk screening value such as "Screening Value of Soil Heavy Metal Risk Assessment in the Pearl River Delta(DB44/T1415-2014)" and "Screening value of Shanghai soil environmental health risk assessment(trial)" and there was no need for soil risk assessment. The results also showed that the excess ammonia nitrogen and total escherichia coli in the water in the mainland of the site were caused by groundwater pollution, which would not affect the subsequent development requirements of the site.
