Taking stand of Populus 'Zhongsui No. 12' in Fuxin City as research objects, the experiment with different proportion of chicken manure and urea was applied to one-year-old poplar to analyze the effects of fertilization on rhizosphere soil nutrient and soil microbial quantity. Result shows that the fertilization treatment of "J30 N70"(30% nitrogen was provided by chicken manure and 70% of nitrogen was provided by urea) was significantly different from other treatments in improving soil biological activity, and promoted the growth of poplar;"J30 N70 Treatment, available phosphorus and available potassium were the highest, and significantly higher than the other three treatments. The ratio of chicken manure and urea to 3∶7 is the optimal fertilization ratio for poplar cultivation, which has a positive effect on the maintenance and improvement of nutrients in rhizosphere soil.
