摘要
本文介绍了一种工作温度≤20 K(-253℃)的超宽带低温耦合器的设计方法,采用超宽带对称式耦合器理论设计出2~14 GHz超宽带、30 d B的耦合器,针对低温环境影响,采取特殊工艺,实现超宽带低温耦合器工作温度≤20 K。通过ADS仿真软件对其进行仿真并经实测,结果表明,该耦合器具有优良的性能,在11 K工作温度下,2~14 GHz全频带内插损≤0. 23 d B,耦合度为29. 32~30. 76 d B,带内波动≤1. 44 dB,端口驻波≤1. 3,实测数据与仿真结果具有很好的一致性。
A method for designing an UWB cryogenic coupler operating below temperatures of 20 K(-253 ℃) was presented in this paper. A 2 ~ 14 GHz UWB coupler with 30 d B coupling was designed by the theory of UWB symmetrical multi-section directional coupler,some special processes were taken for ultra-low ambient temperatures. The coupler was simulated by ADS software and the result proved that the coupler was fine. In the frequency of 2 ~ 14 GHz,the practicality test results at 11 K temperature was : Insertion loss≤0. 23 d B,coupling 29. 32 ~ 30. 76 d B and ripple≤1. 44 d B,VSWR≤1. 30. The measurement data was good consistent with simulation result.
