Objective To study the reliability and validity of the internet-based food frequency questionnaire of nurses in Harbin. Methods Two times of food frequency questionnaire were performed on a random sample of 120 nurses of several hospital in Harbin in order to understand dietary habits of each subject during the past 4 months. The correlation of students' dietary nutrients intake was compared, the reliability of the questionnaire was examined. Moreover, dietary log was performed for 3 days after the first time of electronic food frequency questionnaire, and the correlation of the average of dietary log and food frequency questionnaire was used to examine the content validity of the questionnaire. Results(1)In the study of validity,12 items were positively associated between food frequency questionnaire and dietary log( r:0. 286 ~ 0. 768,average: 0. 441);(2)In the study of reliability, except for vitamin C,intakes of energy and 23 nutrients were positively correlated between two food frequency questionnaires( r: 0. 276 ~ 0. 867,average: 0. 647);(3)In the program of consistent rate analysis, the validity of the consistent rate was 48%,the reliability of nutrients was at a rate of 96%. Conclusion Although the internet-based food frequency questionnaire exists a series of error, the FFQ also can be a perfect tool to help to study the association between nutrients and chronic diseases and food and nutrients intake of residents stably, then assess dietary status of residents.
