General Secretary Xi Jinping once stressed at the meeting that all kinds of courses should go hand in hand with ideological and political theory courses to form synergy effect by making good use of classroom teaching as the main channel. Colleges and universities are the main positions of ideological and political education, and college students are the main force in the country's future construction. The realization of "curriculum ideological and political education" is an important measure to educate people in the whole process and in all aspects. Environmental microbiology engineering is a marginal discipline developed on the basis of environmental science. Expanding the course of "Environmental Engineering Microbiology" to "Course Ideological and Political Theory" is helpful to cultivate environmental protection talents with both excellent quality and ability.
