摘要
本文介绍了一种60GHz频段的片上巴伦及应用其与匹配部分的功率放大器设计过程。首先介绍了阻抗匹配部分使用的片上巴伦结构,采用调节中间抽头位置的方法来补偿巴伦的不平衡,仿真结果表明其幅度不平衡度为0.06dB,相位不平衡度为1.3°,损耗为2.1dB。并讨论了将该结构应用于该频段下功率放大器匹配连接部分的方法,最后验证了巴伦仿真的准确度问题。
This paper introduces a on-chip balun for 60 GHz and power amplifier which used it for impedance matching, method of tuning the position of center-tap is proposed to compensate for the imbalance of the balun. The simulation results show the amplitude imbalance is 0.06 d B, phase imbalance is 1.3°, insertion loss is 2.1d B. How to use this balun structure into the matching part of power amplifier for this frequency is also discussed. Finally, the accuracy of balun simulation is verified.
