Objective To improve the understanding of fetal meconium peritonitis(FMP) and accumulate clinical experience. Methods The characteristics of 4 cases of FMP admitted in our hospital were analyzed retrospectively. Results A total of 4 cases FMP were diagnosed by B-mode ultrasonography in late pregnancy. Among them, 1 case stillbirth, 1 case gave up treatment, 2 cases survived(1 case received conservative medical treatment after delivery, 1 case received surgical treatment after delivery) and the prognosis were good. Conclusion Ultrasonic is the main auxiliary examination method for prenatal diagnosis of FMP. Early diagnosis of FMP during pregnancy is very important for the prognosis of neonates.
