唐代的褒城和褒城驿初探

摘要
唐代的褒城是褒斜道的咽喉和枢纽,是长安与成都千里秦蜀古道上的战略节点。唐代的褒城驿应该与褒城县相互依存,在褒斜大道南端褒谷口的褒河西岸。唐代的褒城驿号称"天下第一驿"。元稹等大诗人诗作,描绘了当年褒城驿的美丽景象及盛衰变化,折射出大唐帝国秦蜀交通的变迁轨迹。
Baocheng Town was an important hub of the Baoxie Road in the Tang Dynasty,and so a strategic spot on the Thousand-li Qin-Shu Ancient Road from Chang'an to Chengdu. Located on the west bank of Baohe River on the mouth of Baogu Valley at the southern end of Baoxie Road,the Baocheng Post Station and Baocheng County must be interdependent on each other in the Tang Dynasty. The Baocheng Post Station in the Tang Dynasty was known as "No. 1 Post Station in the World". Yuan Zhen,along with other great poets,described its beautiful scenery and its rise and fall,reflecting its changes in the Great Tang Empire.
