高校虚拟化数据中心平台建设及迁移研究

摘要
随着高校智慧校园的深入建设,为了能更有效地管理计算、网络、存储资源,高校在数据中心的建设与管理中都逐步引入了虚拟化技术。利用虚拟化技术,能够提高现有资源的利用率,提升硬件和应用程序的可用性,进而提高业务连续性,降低数据中心成本。该文对VMware虚拟化技术进行了探讨,对虚拟机、VMware vSphere基础架构及组件进行了阐述,结合我校的虚拟化数据中心建设,重点研究了VMware vSphere虚拟化数据中心平台建设以及利用Storage vMotion技术进行虚拟机迁移。
With the development of the intelligent campus of the University, in order to manage the computing, network and storagere sources more effectively, the virtualization technology has been introduced in the construction and management of the data cen-ter. Using virtualization technology can improve the utilization of existing resources, improve the availability of hardware and appli-cations, and then improve business continuity and reduce the cost of data center. In this paper, the VMware virtualization technolo-gy is discussed, the basic architecture and components of virtual machine and VMware vSphere are expounded. Combined with the construction of the virtual data center of our school, the construction of VMware vSphere virtual data center platform and the use of Storage vMotion technology to carry out the virtual machine migration are emphatically studied.
