TC18钛合金锻件低倍“亮斑”成因分析

摘要
对TC18钛合金锻件低倍试样出现的"亮斑"进行观察与分析,并对"亮斑"的形成机理进行了探索与研究。试验结果表明,低倍试样上出现的"亮斑"区域不是夹杂和偏析等冶金缺陷,也不是锻造过程中产生的锻造缺陷,而是钛合金低倍试样加工过程中由于磨削不当造成过热产生的。对"亮斑"特征进行了分析,并通过验证试验确定了"亮斑"的形成机理。
The mechanism of forming bright spots is researched and explored through observation and analysis of it appeared on the macro etching specimen of TC18 titanium alloy parts.The tests' result shows that bright spots area appeared on macro etching specimen are neither metallurgical defects caused by inclusion and segregation,nor forging defects produced in the forging process,but it is produced due to overheating of improper grinding when machining macro etching specimen of titanium alloy parts.The characteristic of bright spot is analyzed and the mechanism of forming bright spots is confirmed by verification tests.
