基于芘和多分支聚环氧乙烷链的V型刚柔分子的合成与自组装

摘要
设计合成了二分支和三分支的聚环氧乙烷(PEO)为柔性嵌段,芘的1,8-位通过乙炔基连两个联苯,在联苯末端通过酯基连接苯酚为刚性嵌段的V型刚柔分子。利用飞行质谱(Maldi-TOF-Mass),核磁共振(~1H-NMR)对V型刚柔分子的结构进行了表征,通过差示扫描量热仪(DSC)和X-ray衍射实验对其在本体中的自组装行为进行了研究。结果表明:在本体自组装中,6种分子都无液晶相,但在固态时自组装结构有所不同。三分支刚柔分子可自组装成六方柱状结构和单分子层状结构,而二分支刚柔分子可自组装成双连续立方体结构和单分子层状结构。这说明随着分支数的增加或柔性链的延长,柔性链之间的排斥力增大,导致分子间的微相分离作用变大,破坏了刚棒间的p-p堆积作用,因此不宜形成更加有序的相结构。
V-shaped rod-coil molecules contained di- and tri-branched PEO as a flexible block, using pyrene and biphenyl linking by acetenyl as a rigid block, were successfully synthesized and characterized. The self-assembly behavior of V-shaped molecules in bulk were studied by DSC and X-ray. The results show that the V-shaped molecules have no liquid crystalline phase and their self-assembled structures are different in the solid state. The tribranched V-shaped rod-coil molecules can self-assemble into the hexagonal columnar and lamellar structure, and dibranched V-shaped molecules can form the bicontinuous cubic and lamellar structure. This results means that repulsive force between the flexible chain is enlarged and the π-π stacking interaction between the rigid rod is damaged with increasing the length or number of flexible chain, and which leads to the orderly phase structure be unfavorable to form.
