在2016年大连理工大学研究电磁铸造30周年之际,回顾其材料电磁过程ABC。1982年大连理工大学郭可切(金俊泽)的硕士(博士)研究生任忠鸣开始进行旋转电磁场下定向凝固合金组织控制的研究,1986年北方工业大学电气工程专业青年教师朱晓鹰进入大连理工大学材料系攻读博士学位,拉开了铝合金电磁铸造的帷幕,使材料电磁过程从理论研究走向应用技术研究。1988年参加国家"七五"科技攻关项目一小断面电磁铸造技术的研宄工作,用无结晶器电磁连铸法铸出了国内第一根铝合金扁锭。1992年开始开展工业规模电磁铸造技术与装置研究,制备出多品种、多规格、高质量的铝合金铸坯,提出热顶-电磁铸造法制备出国内外第一支宽厚比达20的铝薄板。三十年来,探索了用各种电磁场控制金属凝固组织的方法。在材料方面,从铝合金到钢铁材料、铜合金、镁合金、锌合金等:涉及的电磁场种类包括工频交流磁场、中频磁场、高频磁场、直流磁场、强磁场等;采用的磁场施加方式包括旋转电磁场、行波电磁场、螺旋电磁场、脉冲电磁场、间歇电磁场和约束电磁场等。
This is a review on the development of electromagnetic processing ABC in Dalian university of technology,which is for its 30 th researching anniversary in 2016.In 1982,the electromagnetic field(EMF) research started with the directional solidification under rotating magnetic field(RMF) by Prof Keren Guo and his master student Zhongming Ren(continued his PhD with Prof Junze Jin).In 1986,Xiaoying Zhu began his work on the electromagnetic casting(EMC) of aluminium alloy.Thus,the EMF research developed from the theoretical inception to practical applications.In 1988,the team took part in the 7th five years program for science and technology development of China with the EMC technology of small section ingot.That work led to the first successful electromagnetic DC casting of Al slab ingot without mold in China.Then in 1992,the EMC technology was developed to an industrial scale with the production of high quality Al ingots of different composition and size.At the same time,the first aluminum sheet with a width-to-thickness ratio more than 20 in the world was prepared by an improved hot top-EMC technology.For the last 30 years,the team kept focus on the control of the metal solidification structure by EMC.The research scope includes steel,aluminium alloy,copper alloy,magnesium alloy,zinc alloy,etc..The type of EMF divides into AC magnetic field,intermediate frequency EMF,high frequency EMF,DC magnetic field,strong magnetic field,etc..The application of EMF involves RMF and traveling magnetic field,spiral magnetic field,pulse magnetic field,intermittent magnetic field,confining magnetic field,etc..
