宽带和频光谱研究表界面动态过程

摘要
宽带和频(BB-SFG)光谱是一种以二阶非线性技术,具有表面选择性和亚单层分子检测灵敏度。不仅可以提供表界面分子结构和取向信息,还能实时跟踪表界面上的动态结构变化。用BB-SFG光谱研究硫氰根离子在电极表面的氧化还原过程,不但观察到氧化产物的谱峰,还能得到随着吸附和氧化过程电极表面极化强度的变化情况。我们还用BB-SFG光谱实时跟踪了飞秒红外脉冲与金属表面相互作用后,表面上相干态的形成和超快弛豫过程。另外,简要介绍"基于可调谐红外激光的能源化学大型实验装置"项目的基本情况,以及红外自由电子激光在结构研究中的应用。
Broadband Sum-Frequency Generation(BB-SFG) spectroscopy is 2~(nd) order nonlinear technique. Due to its unique surface selectivity and high sensitivity, BB-SFG can provide surface/interface structure information about molecular orientation, ordering, and adsorption site. It is a powerful tool to follow dynamic process on surface with high time resolution. We observed electrode surface response to the adsorption/desorption and oxidation/reduction of thiocyanate ion on Au electrode. Ultrafast creation and relaxation of surface coherence generated by a femtosecond IR pulse had been probed by BB-SFG as well. The "Tunable Infrared Laser for Fundamentals of Energy Chemistry" project and the application of Free Electron Laser in structure characterization will be briefly introduced.
