基于特征模的可穿戴MIMO天线

摘要
传统的矩形单极子天线带宽无法满足越来越多的无线通信设备的需求。基于特征模理论,通过分析天线的特征值,把表面电流分解成相应的特征电流。它可以从物理本质上研究天线的辐射机理,从而有效的指导天线设计。改进了天线结构和馈电方法,采用柔性Kapton Polyimide基板材料,设计了可穿戴的单极子天线,并用于多输入多输出天线系统,以保证信息传输的可靠性。为了降低耦合,提出了桥连开口谐振环(Bridged Split Ring Resonator,BSRR)结构,优化了它与天线的间距。仿真结果表明,S11<-10d B时的带宽为2.45GHz-13.19GHz,带宽覆盖FCC规定的UWB频段。与不加BSRR结构相比,MIMO天线之间的耦合降低了15.4785d B。
Conventional rectangular monopole antennas cannot meet the need of a growing number of wireless communication devices. Surface currents can be decomposed to certain characteristic currents by analyzing its eigenvalues based on characteristic mode theory. This theory provides a very clear insight into the physically operating mechanism of this type of antennas and it helps to antenna design. Wearable monopole antennas based on flexible substrate material Kapton polyimide are presented and can be used for MIMO antenna system to obtain accuracy transmitted information. To induce mutual couple between antennas, BSRR(Bridged Split Ring Resonator) structure is given and its distance from antennas is optimized. Simulating result shows that impedance bandwidth is 2.45 GHz – 13.19 GHz when S11<-10 d B, which covers UWB band licensed by FCC. BSRR structure efficiently induces the 15.4785 d B coupling between MIMO antennas compared with BSRR-free.
