一种基于双阻抗匹配的高回退对称式Doherty功率放大器

本文研究了一种基于双阻抗匹配的高回退Doherty功率放大器。针对Doherty在饱和与回退时的两对阻抗变换要求,研究了一种基于传输矩阵的双阻抗匹配方法来设计输出匹配网络。为了增大放大器的功率回退范围,合理设计辅路输出匹配电路,使其在低功率时产生对主路的补偿电抗。设计和实现了一个2.5GHz高回退对称Doherty功率放大器。测试结果表明放大器饱和功率大于44d Bm,峰值效率为68%。在主辅两路使用相同功放管情况下,9d B回退时的效率超过50%。
In this paper, a Doherty power amplifier(DPA) based on two-point matching network was studied for large back-off power range. To achieve the impedance transformations both at saturation and in the low power region, a two impedance matching network design based on transmission matrix was proposed to design the main and auxiliary output matching networks(OMNs). To enhance the back-off power range, the auxiliary OMN was designed to generate a compensation reactance for the main amplifier in the low power region. A 2.5 GHz symmetric DPA with large back-off power range was designed and measured. Measurement results show that the DPA using symmetric structure has a saturated output power of higher than 44 d Bm and a saturated efficiency of 68%, while the 9 d B back-off efficiency is higher than 50%.
