豪斯翻译质量评估新模式的应用——以《破产姐妹》字幕翻译为例

摘要
豪斯将多种跨学科理论纳入翻译质量评估的理论框架中,形成了全新的综合翻译质量评估模式。本文在对豪斯翻译质量评估模式历史演变与新模式述介后,以豪斯翻译质量评估新模式为理论基础,对美剧《破产姐妹》字幕翻译质量进行分析评估,分析结果表明《破产姐妹》的字幕翻译属于显性翻译,虽然译文与原文出现了少量差异,但其并没有对文本的主要功能造成影响,很好地再现了幽默讽刺的语言、剧中人物鲜明的性格特点、微妙的情感关系以及剧中所展现的美国的文化,译文与原文的匹配程度高,译文的质量很高。在肯定豪斯翻译质量评估新模式的地位与作用的同时,也发现该模式在量化评估与参数设置方面存在不足之处。
House proposed a new integrated model for Translation Quality Assessment(TQA) by applying various interdisciplinary theories to the theoretical framework of TQA. After the introduction of historical evolution of House's models for TQA and the latest one, this paper, in the light of House's latest model for TQA, give an analysis and evaluation of the subtitle translation's quality of the American series 2 Broke Girls. The results of analysis show that the subtitle translation of 2 Broke Girls belongs to overt translation with source text and target text matching well and good quality of the translation. Despite a few differences between the translation and the original text, the translation does not affect the realization of the main functions of the text, with a good reproduction of the humorous and ironic language, the vivid characters, subtle emotional relationships and American culture presented in the series. While confirming the status and function of the new model, it is also found that the model has disadvantages in quantitative evaluation and parameter setting.
